ZetaChain scales infrastructure for Omnichain dApp builders
Check out this blog post in español, 简体中文, 繁體中文, 日本語, हिंदी, 한국어, tiếng-việt, deutsch, português, français, русский, українська, persian, türkçe, indonesian, and filipino (non-English translations are created by the community, not ZetaChain).
ZetaChain aims to be the only blockchain you’ll ever need. It is a layer 1 blockchain and developer platform that connects any L1 and L2, from Ethereum to Bitcoin and beyond. Developers can use Omnichain Smart Contracts to build interoperable dApps across any use case from a single point of logic — over 150 Zeta Apps are live on testnet to date! A key focus of our mission is to provide the best development platform to make omnichain dApp building easy. Let’s review some recent developer and ZetaDocs updates as well as the current state of ZetaChain ecosystem infrastructure.
Client-side apps for omnichain builders
With the increase in number of developers building on ZetaChain, we see demand from frontend devs for how to create client-side applications that integrate with ZetaChain and tap into the omnichain functionality offered by the protocol. To help them get started, we’re building an example web app that showcases main features of ZetaChain. While the project is still a work in progress, we’re excited to share a sneak peek with some screenshots.
The web app is built using modern frontend technologies, including the latest version of Next.js, wagmi, RainbowKit and, of course, ZetaChain’s toolkit. The functionality includes:
Portfolio overview of all tokens on all blockchains connected to ZetaChain
Token transfer and swap component that lets users perform cross-chain swaps, deposits and withdrawals
A demo to showcase the cross-chain messaging functionality provided by ZetaChain
Cross-chain transaction tracking
We also released a screencast that guides developers through building an omnichain Swap contract with ZetaChain. The screencast is a great addition to the existing tutorial and highly recommended if you’re interesting in building omnichain contracts!
