Google Cloud now secures ZetaChain in a new collaboration to accelerate web3 adoption and innovation of Universal Apps that span all chains.
At ZetaChain, our mission is to build a Universal Blockchain with native access to any blockchain, making crypto as accessible, diverse, and connected as the internet. Following today’s official announcement, we are proud to announce a collaboration with the world’s leading cloud provider Google to secure the Universal Blockchain through its Web3 validator services and build on ZetaChain’s universal ecosystem of more than 290 dApp partners.
Google Cloud is now a ZetaChain validator
Through this collaboration, Google Cloud now supports ZetaChain as a validator on both mainnet and testnet environments, helping to secure and scale a robust ecosystem of diverse validators on the Universal Blockchain.
“At Google Cloud, we’re committed to empowering developers with the tools and infrastructure they need to build the future of decentralized applications,” said Richard Widmann, Head of Web3 Strategy, Google Cloud, in today’s release. “Our secure cloud infrastructure and validator capabilities will help ZetaChain grow its Universal Blockchain and unlock interoperability for Web3 developers.”
ZetaChain to delegate 1,000,000 ZETA to Google Cloud validators
As part of ZetaChain’s commitment to secure and expand its ecosystem, we will delegate 1,000,000 ZETA tokens across five validators operating on Google Cloud infrastructure who are also selected in the 10,000,000 ZETA Foundation Delegation Program.
Empowering Universal App builders on Google Cloud
Developers building Universal Apps on ZetaChain can now access the Google Cloud Web3 Startups Program. Eligible projects can apply for Google Cloud credits, enabling developers to focus on next-generation Universal Smart Contracts, natively accessible from ZetaChain and any connected chain such as Bitcoin, without infrastructure constraints.
Enhanced Developer Experience with ZETA Testnet Distribution
To streamline development and testing, Google Cloud will integrate ZetaChain’s testnet faucet, providing developers with an easy way to acquire ZETA testnet tokens. This feature enables faster testing and deployment of Universal Smart Contracts, natively accessible across ZetaChain and any connected blockchain.
Growing the Universal Blockchain
This Web3 partnership marks a significant milestone in ZetaChain’s growth as a leading blockchain for chain abstraction. With 4 million unique wallets connected and 150 million transactions across 290 dApp integrations (ZetaScan), ZetaChain continues to accelerate web3 adoption and innovation of Universal Apps. The collaboration with Google will play a key role in growing participation in staking and governance by simplifying node operations for developers and validators across the world.
